  My sister, our Mom and I stayed for the second last weekend prior to season closing. We were given the newest cottage and what a treat. It was the sweetest little cottage I have ever stayed in. The one and only complaint we had is the mattresses on the beds are extremely rock hard. Sleeping on the bare floors may have been softer. The owner was very personable and treated us extremely well. It was quiet and peaceful. Thinking we may have to do this again next year. I would have given it 5 stars with the exception of the mattresses.

  We were driving east on hwy 17, looking for a place to camp just the night. We got a pull-thru, which was nice but disappointed with the campground, which has many seasonals, who don't keep up their places. It's right on the lake, which is nice. The owner was very nice and friendly. Our fee for one night, including tax, full hook-up was $40, which was good. For a place to spend one night it is okay but wouldn't want to stay longer.
